For this exhibition we created sound sculptures based on Wardian Cases, miniature glasshouses used in the early 1800's to bring plants from the new world to the old.

We updated these cases for the 21st century and carried them as hand luggage from Sydney to the U.K. Instead of live plant specimens our Wardian Cases contained miniature speakers and the calls of endangered Australian birds.
