Anandale Galleries, 1995This work was related to the embodied sound installation "Cecis N'est Pas Une Pipe" exhibited concurrently at the MCA. (The pipe pictured here is a cast of that work.) It is also pokes fun at gender representation in the Magritte painting "Les Deux Mystéres". Inside the box was a recording of a woman's voice, the text by Kathleen Mary Fallon. The sound was so quiet it could be heard only by placing an ear onto the end of the pipe.
